Authors Strategy - Survival - level 15

You have five marines available to you in this mission, one is pre-designed and you have to design the other four. Fig.1 shows the recommended weapons for these 4 marines, each of these marines also has light armour.

At the start of the mission all of your units will be out of ammo. The early stage of the game is crucial and you will have to move with purpose. You will need to use barrels to seal off both exits to the first room, if you don't you'll be facing loads of angry Dec'Ther. Move one unit towards the body of the dead marine (grab the ammo from the body as soon as possible). Your other units should move into position to push the barrels.
Fig.2 and 3 show the directions in which the barrels should be pushed. Doing this will seal off the east doorway and partially block the north doorway.

Now you need to move your units through the remaining gap in the northern doorway. Be careful of the order in which you move your units, the marine with the ammo needs to be able to shot any threatening Scay'Ger.

Once all your units have moved into the next room, seal of the doorway using the barrel as shown in Fig.4
Both bodies in this room have ammo, get this at the earliest opportunity.
Move your men towards the eastern doorway. If you keep close to the floor hatch you will be able to dispatch the Ray'Ther with bayonets (thus saving precious ammo). The eastern doorway will need to be sealed. To do this push the barrels as shown in Fig.5.
Once in the large room, move two units with bayonets to the floorhole at A, and another unit with a bayonet to the hole at B (see Fig.6). These units will be able to deal with any Scay'Ger that appear, whilst your other two units search the bodies for ammo and the hydraulic crowbar (which can be found at C).
Use the crowbar to open the northern door. Your marines should then retreat through this door and head to the exit area.....
