Install:
1) Unzip BreakOut.lev and BreakOut.lcl in incubation/missions
2) Unzip BreakOut.txt in incubation/data/txt/english/briefing
3) start the game in instant action (1 player only). Your squad is pre-designed so just click on 'Deploy Units'

Description: BreakOut
 
 
The military are attempting to take over your research project. You have decided to 'liberate'
your test subjects and continue your research at a secret location.
Objective: Open the doors to all the containment cells. Get the
Mad Scientist and 7 other Scay'Ger into the red area in the south.
 
 
Your mission will fail if the scientist is killed, or if you have less than 7 Scay'Ger left,
or the military reinforcements arrive (turn40).
It may be worth noting the following points:
- This mission is a prequal to my second incubation mission 'Mad Scientist' (rddpinc2.zip).
- Your main character, the Mad Scientist, is equiped with the following:
           
a prototype liquid cooled auto-pistol
           
an experimental "Scay'Ger controling" field emitter
           
a security pass
           
an Absorber (4 points)
           
light armour
           
servo system
           
scan module
           
small medic kit
           
light stimulants
- The prototype pistol has the same stats as a sniper rifle with a cooler.
- The field emitter (along with recievers surgically implanted into the Scay'Ger) is your method of controlling the Scay'Ger. It also has the same effect as a banner.
- The scientist is the only unit carrying a security pass, and hence is the only unit that can open the containment cell doors (okay, so it's a hydraulic crowbar, you'll just have to use your imagination!)
- Most of the laser barriers can be deactivated by using the appropriate switches.
- As a defensive measure a 'Spider Mine Replicator Pad' has been installed in this contaiment facility. Be careful not to stand still on the pad. If you do, your unit will be destroyed by the pads self-defense mechanisims.
