The early stages of a map02 remake. The main circular tunnel is there, albeit in a rough form, as are the beginnings of some of the peripheral areas. This map was an attempt to do something interesting with slopes in ZDoom, but it became very messy very quickly (open the map up in an editor and see for yourself). The problem with this degree of slope use is that you really need to be organised and plan everything from the start. If you try to make modifications on the fly it can become messy. I like what I've achieved, but it's only halfway there in terms of what I was aiming for and if I was to improve on this I'd probably have to rebuild the map from scratch. Nothing special in texturing. I didn't get as far as really tackling all the custom textures needed to raise the appearance of the level, so there's lots of METAL and it looks a bit bland as a result.
